Jalandhar, August 23, 2024 A mega event, 'Krishnam' ballet dedicated to Lord Krishna, was organized on the eve of Janmashtami by Rajeshwari Kala Sangam in collaboration with Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The ballet was dedicated to the life events of Lord Krishna.

Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal IAS, Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Sucharita Sharma (Director, Apeejay Education, Jalandhar) warmly welcomed Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal and other distinguished guests and expressed her ecstasy to have them on this special occasion. She also put forth that Dr. Stya Paul, the Inspiration behind all Apeejay Education institutions, had established Rajeshwari Kala Sangam to preserve Indian art, culture, and its rich heritage. Dr. Stya Paul Ji himself was an ardent devotee and worshiper of Lord Krishna, and today's celebration is the manifestation of his ideas and vision. His glorious legacy is being carried forward by his daughter Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia (Chairman, Apeejay Education; Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group) along with his granddaughter Dr. Neha Berlia (Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education) and his grandsons Mr. Nishant Berlia (General Secretary, Apeejay Education) and Mr. Aditya Paul Berlia (Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education).

In the captivating presentation of the ballet 'Krishnam,' the life events such as 'Krishna's birth,' 'Kaliya Mridan' by Krishna, 'Sacredness of Radha-Krishna's love,' the episode of Krishna playing Raasleela and Holi with Gopis, 'Draupadi's chirharan,' the supernatural presentation of 'Meerabai's unique devotion for Krishna,' and the reason why Shri Krishna holds a peacock feather on his head, along with the holy story of Krishna playing the flute, were shown.
