Jalandhar, August 2, 2024: We are proud to share that our student Naina Jaggi pursuing Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (Semester –IV), has brought laurels to the college by securing the First position in the final examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Top positions in GNDU Examinations
Jalandhar, July 23, 2024: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar proved their excellence with their performance in GNDU examinations. The students of B.Com Semester 6th bagged top prestigious positions and made their college proud.
Rajat scored 1687/2100 marks and bagged 6th position in University exam. Diksha stood eighth by scoring 1681 marks, Dyumna Aggarwal bagged 19th position by scoring 1647 marks. Along with them, Shivanshi Khanna bagged 25th position by scoring 1638 marks.
Faculty Development Programme
Jalandhar, May 30, 2024: A Faculty Development Programme on 'Mental Hygiene' was organised with the courtesy of IQAC cell of the college. The Principal while expressing her views on the importance of mental health of nation-building teachers to be good because through their knowledge, students can contribute to the development of the society while building their future and fulfilling their social responsibilities. Ms Niharika Majumdar and Ms Harpreet Kaur from Department of Psychology were present as Resource persons. They shared their views on the well-being of mental health.
ACFA students excel in examinations
Jalandhar, May 20, 2024: The students of ACFA have consistently showcased their talent in the field of education. In the final exams conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, the BA Psychology Honors (Sem-III) students excelled, securing 5 out of the top 10 positions, making their college proud. Asmi Kalia secured the third position, Sandeep Singh secured the fourth position and Ishveen Kaur secured the fifth position. The Principal congratulated all the students who achieved top positions, encouraging them to continue their hard work to attain success in life.
Baking Workshop
Jalandhar, May 18, 2024: A one-day workshop on the topic 'The Art of Baking and Decorating Cupcakes' was organised by the Department of Home Science. Ms Shreya who is a Jewellery Designer by profession and also runs her own bakery 'The Cup Cake Story' was present as a keynote speaker in this workshop. The Principal expressed her views about this workshop said that our focus is to give practical knowledge to the students so they have some skills in their hands and are able to to start their own work and can even provide employment to others.
Students bagged top positions in University Examinations
Jalandhar, May 21, 2024: The students of ACFA proved their excellence with their performance in GNDU examinations. The students of MA (Sem-III) of Indian Classical Dance Kathak bagged top covetous positions and made their college proud. Riddhima Nagpal bagged the First position in University exam, Navpreet Kaur stood Second and Mrinal Thakur secured the Third position. The Principal congratulated all the students who secured top positions and encouraged them to continue working hard and make their college and parents proud of them always.

Jalandhar, May 17, 2024: The students of Psychology Honours (Semester V) performed well in the final examinations organised by Guru Nanak Dev University and made the college proud by securing 7 out of 10 positions. The Principal congratulated the students for their hardwork.
Punyatithi of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji
Jalandhar, May 13, 2024: ACFA paid a tribute to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji on her 12th Death Anniversary. On this occasion, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya & Svran Group said that Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji was a determined woman who was far ahead of her times. She had an expertise in fine arts, singing, dancing and the desire to introduce it to the masses. It was she who had inspired Dr Stya Paul Ji to establish Rajeshwari Kala Sangam which is today flourishing and touching greater heights by the name of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The college is known for preserving heritage and culture and imbibing cultural roots in young generation. Also, faculty from Department of Music paid melodious tribute to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul ji by reciting her favourite bhajans.
Workshop on Design your own Clothing
Jalandhar, May 10, 2024: Recently, ACFA held a 3-week Certificate Course in Design your own Clothing for the students of Class XII free of cost. The students joined these classes with great enthusiasm. In these classes, the faculty from Department of Design taught the students about hand painting, block printing, tie and die and screen printing. They were taught that they can use these different ways to design T- shirts, bedsheets, cushion covers, wall hangings etc. The students were made aware that they can be as creative as they want to be when it comes to fashion.
Hone your cooking skills
Jalandhar, May 9, 2024: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar held a 3-week Certificate Course in Hone your Cooking Skills for the students of Class XII free of cost. The students joined these classes with great enthusiasm and learnt many things from the expert faculty of Apeejay. In these classes, faculty from Department of Home Science taught the students about different modes of cooking like Baking and Steaming. They learnt making desserts like muffins, cupcakes, frozen desserts, healthy salads and importance of nutritious food.

2nd Annual Exhibition
Jalandhar, May 14, 2024: The Department of Applied Art organised the 2nd Annual Exhibition 'Visual Gatha The Foto Stories' at Dr Stya Paul Art Gallery under the leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. Dr Sucharita Sharma, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University was present as the Chief Guest in this exhibition. This exhibition was held from 14th to 17th May 2024.
Expressing her views on the significance of this exhibition, the Principal stated that the objective of the exhibition was to provide a platform to the emerging artists through which they can showcase their art and further improve it. The students who got honoured for clicking the best photos in this exhibition were Tarannum's 'Shiv Kapali', Tegbir Singh's 'Wings over Water', Jashan Saini's 'Sailing through Serenity', Nandini Handa's 'Echoes of the Past:A Journey through History', Shivalika Bansal's 'Buildings , Watery Twin' and Rakshit Raj's Soaked in Sunlight.
'Best Institute for Excellence in Higher Education and Skill Enhancement
Jalandhar, May 6, 2024: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar awarded with 'Best Institute for Excellence in Higher Education and Skill Enhancement' Award conferred by the joint courtesy of ON, NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and ACER, at 6th Education Leaders Conclave and Awards 2024, Chandigarh. The Principal on this occasion recounted the constant source of inspiration under the leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, (Chairman, Apeejay Education; Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University.)
Valedictory Ceremony
Jalandhar, May 11, 2024: A Valedictory Ceremony of Skill Enhancement Classes was organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The college had conducted various classes in different courses for the students of Class XII. The students pursuing Design and Fine Arts classes displayed their own products like portraits, cushion covers, tie and dye, block printing, printing kurtas, attractive earrings, decorative lamp shades and other home decor products, shades and other home decor products. The Principal honoured the students by giving them certificates.
Student selected for the Camp of National Cricket Team Under-23
Jalandhar, May 3, 2024: We are proud to share that Krish Bhagat, a BBA Semester II student of ACFA got selected for the Camp of Indian Cricket Team Under-23. This camp is being organised in Surat from 21st May to 9th June 2024. Players representing different states are participating in this camp. The players who shall perform best in this camp will eventually get the golden opportunity to represent Indian cricket team. It is worth mentioning that earlier, Krish Bhagat had represented Punjab in Under-23 team. The Principal congratulated Krish for this glorious achievement and wished him luck for his future endeavors.
