Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar hoisted National Flag
Jalandhar, August 15, 2023: The NSS Wing of ACFA hoisted National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day 2023 under the campaign Meri Mati Mera Desh to mark Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav from 9th - 15th August 2023 - an initiative taken by the National Service Scheme, Chandigarh; Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India. The Principal, faculty members and students saluted their country by unfurling the tricolor national flag. The students were filled with enthusiasm and the campus was decorated in tricolour. Each individual present, immersed themselves in the ceremony by holding flags in their hands, upholding the significance and pride of the slogan 'Har Ghar Tiranga Ghar Ghar Tiranga' thus keeping up with the promise of making significant contribution in making this resolution a success.
Valedictory Ceremony
Jalandhar, August 14, 2023: Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised Valedictory Ceremony of a five-day workshop on 'Entrepreneurship' organized jointly by ACFA's 'Entrepreneurship Development Cell' and IIM, Calcutta. Mr Gaurav Vishisht who has been awarded with Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and Successful Youth Entrepreneurship Award, was the resource person of this five-day. Principal, Dr Neerja Dhingra congratulated the faculty for the success of the workshop and encouraged that such workshops be conducted in future as well.
ACFA organises edutainment event for the students
Jalandhar, August 11, 2023: The PG Department of Multimedia of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, took its students on an edutainment event to the PVR cinema to watch and learn the skills of cinematography through a much-appreciated film - Oppenheimer. It provided an enriching experience to its students, offering a unique blend of historical learning and cinematic exploration. The students gained a comprehensive understanding of the various elements that contribute to the creation of a cinematic masterpiece.
Independence Day 2023
Jalandhar, August 10, 2023: The NSS Wing of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar celebrated Independence Day 2023 - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from 9 to 15 August 2023, in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India; Regional Directorate, National Service Scheme, Chandigarh. Under the programme - Meri Maati Mera Desh, the students participated in various activities like planting saplings, tying rakhi to the trees, rangoli competition, beautification of the campus in tricolour, paying musical tribute to the freedom fighters, oath ceremony and thus celebrate the glorious years of freedom
In the 'Seed Planting to Tree Planting' programme run by the government, saplings were given to all the NSS volunteers by the college to contribute in keeping the environment green around their homes.
Our students secure top positions in BPT fourth year university exams
Jalandhar, August 05, 2023: We are proud to share that ACFA students have bagged top positions in the university examinations. Kashish Mahna, a fourth-year student of BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) bagged the first position in the university's final examinations, Prishi Sharma secured the second position, Chahat secured the fifth position and Divya Relan achieved the tenth position. Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students and their parents, wishing them a bright future.
MA English students topped the University Exams
Jalandhar, August 09, 2023: MA English students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar bagged the first and second position in the overall result out of 373 students who appeared for the final examination in GNDU, Amritsar. Our students Amrit Kaur and Nandini Sharma secured the First and Second position respectively.
Five-Day Workshop on 'Entrepreneurship'
Jalandhar, August 08, 2023: Recently, a five-day workshop on 'Entrepreneurship' was inaugurated jointly by 'Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)' of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar and IIM Calcutta. Mr Gaurav Vashisht, awarded with Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and Successful Youth Entrepreneurship Award, was present as a Resource person. He discussed about the essential qualities for becoming an entrepreneur. As many as 50 students from different departments of the college will be participating in this workshop and will learn the required skills related to entrepreneurship.
B.Com. students shine at the University Exams
Jalandhar, August 07, 2023: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, excelled in the university examinations of B.Com. (Semester – II). Nandini Bajaj secured the seventh position, Nikita Kumar secured the twenty-first position, Nandini Luther secured the twenty-sixth position, Palak Sehgal secured the twenty-seventh position and Tushar secured forty-seventh. Principal Dr Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students and their parents, wishing them a bright future ahead.
National Bone and Joint Day
Jalandhar, August 04, 2023: The Department of Physiotherapy of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar observed National Bone & Joint Day in collaboration with Punjab Othopaedic Association, under the aegis of Indian Orthopaedic Association. The programme motivated the students to practically implement the lessons learnt from the expert speakers and become good & responsible citizens and help the people in need.

Yashkiran Kaur secured the sixth position, Tushita Bhatia secured the thirteenth position, Gursahib Singh secured the twenty-fourth position and Manpreet Kaur secured the twenty-ninth position bringing laurels to the college.

Jalandhar, July 30, 2023: The students of MFA (Semester IV) have excelled in the University examinations conducted by GNDU and have bagged top University positions. Anupreet Kaur secured the First position in the University. Along with her, Kunj Arora bagged the Second position, Dikha Tangri got the Third position. Jalandhar, july 28, 2023: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, have established their dominance in the university examinations for the second semester of the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) programme. In the final exams conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Kashish Kohli, a student of B.A. (Semester – II), bagged the fifth position and Tanishq Arora secured the tenth position bringing honor to the college. The principal congratulated the students on their achievements.
Orientation Programme
Jalandhar, July 26, 2023: The PG Department of Commerce and Management of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised an Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students. The purpose of the session was to introduce the students with the faculty members as well as know the achievements and offerings of the college.
