Student selected for state-level cricket tournament
Jalandhar, March 09, 2024: We are proud to share that Krish Bhagat, a student of BBA (Semester II) of ACFA represents Punjab in the cricket team. He has been selected in the cricket team by Punjab Cricket Association and is now making Punjab proud by playing in T-20 ODI and inter-state test matches. It is worth mentioning that Krish Bhagat has also won the T-20 series of 'Blasters in Sher-e-Punjab'. The Principal congratulated and encouraged him to continue practicing cricket and attain great heights.
Student excel at an inter-college competition
Jalandhar, March 06, 2024: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar recently won the Championship trophy of Brain Strom 2024 - an Inter-college Competition held at KMV College. There were 7 competitions under different categories and 32 students from Department of Commerce of the college participated in these competitions and grabbed the top covetous positions in all the competitions with excellent performance and earned the Championship trophy. They had stood first in Quiz, Aap Ki Adalat, Ramp Walk, Innovative Startup and third in Epic Wall, Rangoli and Choreography.
Painting Workshop
Jalandhar, March 05, 2024: A three-day painting workshop was organised by the PG Department of Fine Arts which was graced by internationally renowned artist Dr Vijay M. Dhore. The students enthusiastically participated and learned how art works as a therapy. Dr Vijay discussed about the influence of technology that has impacted art and how new genres in the field of art can be made on the basis of creativity and experimentation.
Students bagged the Championship Trophy
Jalandhar, March 02, 2024: We are proud to share that the students of ACFA recently visited the Apeejay Institute of Management, Engineering & Technology and won the Championship Sparks trophy. The students participated in 21 competitions and won positions in 18 competitions. The Principal congratulated the winners.

Jalandhar, March 04, 2024: Dr Sumit Singh Padam of PG Department of Music Instrumental of ACFA participated in Music conference organised by Sur Sadhna Sangeet Academy, Pathankot. During this conference, he enthralled the audience with his melodious presentation of Raga Shuddha Sarang and Raga Basant on Sitar.
Students shine in National Business Plan
Jalandhar, March 01, 2024: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar brought glory to the college by showcasing their talent at IIM Bangalore. Our students Archa, Stuti Kharbanda, Tanisha, Gagandeep Singh of BBA (Semester IV) and Sushoban and Karanveer Singh from B. Voc. E. Commerce & Digital Marketing (Semester IV) participated in the 11th National Business Plan organized by Makeintern and Unmaad at IIM Bangalore Campus. There were 106 entries at the national level in this National Business Plan Competition, in which students of ACFA competed against the students coning from different streams like technology and science and cleared the initial round and made their place in the first 8 teams.
Student excels in Hammer Throw
Jalandhar, February 28, 2024: We are proud to share that Jessica Jagdev, a student of M. Voc. E-Commerce, made the college proud by securing the Second position in the Inter-College Hammer Throw competition in the Athlete meet of Guru Nanak Dev University. The School Principal congratulated Jessica for her dedication and achievement.
Student shines at Skeet Shooting
Jalandhar, February 29, 2024: Harmehar Singh Lalli, a student of Department of Design (Semester – II) who has won many medals in skeet shooting at the international level, recently, participated in the national level games 'Khelo India'. The event was organised in Guwahati from 15th to 29th February 2024 representing Guru Nanak Dev University and won the gold medal. Harmehar Singh attributed his achievement to the constant encouragement he received in college and the blessings of his parents.
Educational Excursion
Jalandhar, February 27, 2024: Students of B. Voc. - Beauty & Wellness and PG Diploma in Fashion Makeover visited Anthea Salon to explore the possibilities in the field of Fashion makeovers. The students went to the salon so that they could be familiarised with the career possibilities in owning a salon. During the visit, they learned about makeup brushes and also acquired knowledge about permanent makeup techniques.
Spring Fiesta 2024
Jalandhar, February 25, 2024: ACFA recently organised a grand ‘Spring Fiesta 2024,’ to encourage the cultural development of the students and to enhance their entrepreneurial & marketing skills. The Fiesta was inaugurated by the Chief Guest - Mrs Anupam Kaler, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Kapurthala and during the Closing ceremony, Ms Manjeet Kaur SP (PBI) and Arjun awardee graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The Spring Fiesta began with the enthralling dance and folk song performances. The students had set-up various stalls of food, games, designer jewellery, paintings etc. For students, swings were a special fascination. Also, there were Raffle draws for which there were gifts like LED, Microwave, Blender, Mixer grinder etc. The Fiesta was a fascination for everyone from kids to adults and everyone enjoyed it.

Student receives MF Hussain Award
Jalandhar, February 20, 2024: Prabhleen Kaur, student of BFA (Semester VI) of ACFA participated in the Mandala Art Competition in the Online Maharashtra Art Contest and was honored with the MF Hussain Award. More than 500 students from all over India participated in this competition, in which Prabhleen performed brilliantly and secured the Ninth position. The Principal congratulated her and motivated her to keep up with the good work.
ACFA observed International Mother Language Day
Jalandhar, February 21, 2024: The Department of Languages observed International Mother Language Day. Various competitions like poetry-recitation, story-telling, elocution were organised. The common theme of these competitions was to share the importance of mother tongue and importance of language in general.
Students won the Championship Trophy
Jalandhar, February 22, 2024: The students of ACFA won the Championship Trophy on the occasion of International Mother Language Day organised by Punjabi Sahitya Academy, Ludhiana. Our students had participated in various competitions, the First prizes were won by Gagandeep Singh for his melodious performance in Folk song, Ankush and Nirvair Singh for holding a conversation using proverbs and idioms and Prateek Dutt Sharma for showcasing his skills in poster-making. Along with them, Khushi Sharma clinched the Second prize in poetry recitation and Prabhjot Kaur bagged the Third position in story writing.
ACFA student shines in Badminton
Jalandhar, February 16, 2024: Sarthak Gupta, a student of B.Com (Semester II) represented the state in 'Kheda Watan Punjab Diya,’ Under 21 Badminton Championship held in Barnala. He secured the Third position and won the bronze medal. The Principal congratulated the student and Department of Physical Education.
