A two-day workshop on Dry Needling was organised on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day. Dr. Pomila Chopra (Director and Founder, Physio World, Ludhiana) and an international certificate holder in 'Dry Needling' and an alumnus of Apeejay College, was present as the keynote speaker. In this two-day workshop, the students learned that dry needling is a new emerging medium of physiotherapy through which pain in muscles, ligament, skin spasm and stiffness can be cured through a needle without medicine.

In a remarkable step towards environmental stewardship, as many as 30 enthusiastic volunteers from the Eco Club under the NSS wing, of ACFA visited Science City, Kapurthala, to deepen their understanding of global environmental challenges and pledge their commitment to conservation.

Guided by Dr. Simkee Dev, Dean of the NSS Wing and Eco Club, the students embarked on an educational journey, exploring the wonders of the Dinosaur Park and marveling at nature's beauty. The visit also featured two thought-provoking presentations—one detailing the causes of global warming and actionable measures to combat it, and the other explaining the origins of life on Earth. Through these sessions, the students gained invaluable insights into the scientific roots of climate change, pollution, and the urgent need for sustainable solutions.

The NSS Wing of ACFA organised an Investiture Ceremony for students, where badges were awarded to those with leadership qualities. As many as 124 NSS volunteers attended the event. During the ceremony, Dr. Simkee Dev, Dean of the NSS Wing, delivered a presentation that highlighted the core values of NSS, the significance of its logo and the benefits that students can gain from participating in the programme. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the newly appointed core team executives and pinned their badges.

Recently, the students of third-year of the Interior Design department recently visited Deluxe Sanitation and Deluxe Interior Studio. During this visit, students gained insights into new sanitary equipment and accessories, as well as valuable information about wall finishes and trending flooring options. The experts provided the students with information about the new materials available in the market related to their field.

Students of ACFA have once again brought pride to their institution through exceptional academic performance. In the final exams conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, the students of the PG Department of Fine Arts have achieved remarkable results. Nandini secured the first position, Vibhuti came in second, Simran secured the third position, Harman earned the fourth, Jaspreet came in fifth Ranjana secured the sixth position, Neha came in seventh, Dhriti secured the eighth position and Ambika came in twelfth. The Principal congratulated all the students and encouraged them to continue working hard to achieve their dreams and attain success in life. She also appreciated the efforts of the faculty for their dedication and guidance.

Aggrima Jain, a student of the B. Design Multimedia Department (Semester-VI), has made the college proud by securing the first position in the final exams conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Additionally, Simrat Pal Kaur achieved the seventh position and Sanchay Gupta secured the tenth position, further adding to the college's glory. We extend heartiest congratulations to all the students for their effort.

A two-day Talent Hunt, a platform for the freshers to showcase the talent, was organised at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. A special address by Madam Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education was read out by the Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra. It conveyed the pivotal role played by teachers towards nation-building.

On the first day of the Talent Hunt, several competitions were organised as Poetry Recitation, Extempore Speech, Debate, Elocution, Anecdote Narration, Cartooning, Collage making, Clay-modelling, and many more were organised. The students brilliantly performed in these multiple competitions and the first three position holders were given certificates and prizes. On the second day of the Talent Hunt, the stage items as - Music Vocal, Music Instrumental, Theatre and Dance were organised.
