Student shine in university examination

The students of B. Voc. E. Commerce (Semester IV) made their college proud by scoring excellent marks in the final examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University. Mannat bagged the First position and Harshita Chadha secured the Second position in the University. The Principal congratulated the students and their parents and wished them a bright future ahead.
World Mental Health Week

The Department of Psychology recently observed the World Mental Health Week. The dept. organised various activities and sessions during this week with the motto to raise awareness about the importance and necessity to prioritise one's mental health. Also, the students who have opted Psychology as one of their major subjects performed a street play titled - 'Uljhan se Suljhan Tak'. A one-day workshop was organized on 'Boosting Mental Health of Professionals' for the faculty members where Mr. Tanveer Singh (Counselling Psychologist, Military Hospital, Jalandhar) was present as a Resource Person.
Educational Excursion to Jaipur and Delhi

The INTACH Heritage Club organised an enriching educational excursion to Jaipur and Delhi. This trip aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to India's rich cultural heritage and modern advancements. The students learned about the history of Jaipur and visited monuments. The journey continued to Delhi, where the group was honoured with a rare visit to the President's House. The trip proved to be a successful blend of cultural education and modern exploration, leaving a lasting impact on the students by fostering an appreciation for India's diverse heritage.

ACFA organises a Workshop on 'Hair Cut and Styling Techniques'

The Department of Fashion Makeover organised a one-day workshop on 'Hair Cut and Styling Techniques'. Mr. Tushar Bansal, who has earned a special identity for hair styling and its styling techniques at the international level, was present as a Resource Person in this workshop. He discussed in detail about various tools and equipment used during hair-cut such as straightener, curling rod, dryer, styling combs, scissors and various brands of products used for hair styling.
Blood Donation Camp

The Department of Physiotherapy organised a blood donation camp on the 105th Birth Anniversary of its beloved Founder Chariman, Dr. Stya Paul ji. It was organised in collaboration with Sacred Heart Hospital. In the blood donation camp, students and teachers from all departments of the college contributed with great zeal and enthusiasm. As many as 40 people from the college fulfilled their social responsibility by donating their blood.
Founder’s Day

ACFA paid a tribute to its Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul on his 105th birth anniversary. A message by the respected Chairman of Apeejay Education, Madam Sushma Paul Berlia was read out by the Principal. A rich floral tribute was paid by the principal, teachers and students. The celebrations began with the recitation of Dr. Stya Paul’s favourite bhajans. The students also presented a cultural programme. On this special occasion, the students were bestowed with the Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values is bestowed to two students every year for their sincere work and social services in order to encourage them to practice and pass on good values. In the academic session 2024 -25, this award was won by Shivansh (B. Com. Sem V) and Archa (BBA Sem V). Both the students received Citation, certificates and cash prize. To introduce the new students to the life of Dr. Stya Paul ji, a video highlighting glimpses of his life was shown. The Principal motivated the students and said that they should also understand the importance of discipline and make moral values a part of their lives.
Photography Competition - Nazariya

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organised a Photography competition. Students from all departments of the college participated in it with great zeal and enthusiasm. On the basis of quality, creativity and uniqueness, Udayveer Singh Sandhu (B.D.M. Sem V) bagged the first position while Arbaaz (BBA Innovation Sem I) bagged the second position. While Aryan (BFA, Sem III) and Revanshi (BDM, Sem III) bagged the First and Second prize respectively for captioning the photographs. The Principal honoured the winners with certificates.
Student excels in Basketball

Two students of ACFA participated in basketball match at district level in 'Kheda Watan Punjab Diya 2024' organised by the Punjab Government and with their exceptional performances won gold medals and made their college proud. Ranbir Kalsi (BBA Sem V) had participated in the 21 to 30 years category and while Paijpal Singh (BBA Sem I) had participated in Under 21 Category. Both of them won gold medals and won hearts and admiration of everyone.
ACFA observed National Nutrition Month

The Department of Home Science organised a one-day workshop on 'Healthy Cooking' on ‘National Nutrition Month.’ Lavina, Naina and Navnoor from BA (Semester-V) and Dev Verma from BA (Semester III) played chefs and inspired students to cook healthy food. The Principal Dr. Dhingra said that this workshop will be considered successful only when all of us take a pledge to prioritise our health and make healthy and nutritious choices.
