Jalandhar, October 9, 2019: Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, celebrated the 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman, Apeejay Education Society, by pledging to follow his footsteps. The Ceremony commenced with the rendition of Dr Stya Paul’s favourite bhajan ‘Vishawpati Ke Dhyan Mein Jisne Lagai Ho Lagan’. Moving on, a documentary dedicated to the life of Dr Stya Paul ji was shown to the students.
College Principal, Dr Sucharita Sharma, addressed the gathering with the message of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group, that even if Dr Stya Paul ji (fondly remembered as ‘Seth Ji’) is not amongst us but by adopting the virtues of his character like dedication, diligence, commitment, positive thinking, hard work and philanthropy, we can achieve our goal(s). She further said that Seth Ji believed: “It is not a disgrace if dreams are unfulfilled, but it is, if we have no dreams to dream!” On the occasion of this Founder’s Day, the students living their lives based on Human Values are awarded with ‘Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values’ every year. This year also, the following students were awarded with this award:
