Jalandhar, Oct 13, 3019: Workshop based on Colour Theory and its importance was organised by the Department of Fashion Makeover at the Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar. Mr Dharmendra from Orane International, Jalandhar, was the key resource person for the Workshop.
During the Workshop, students learned about Colour Theory and its importance in the professional world. Theory related to types of colours like primary, secondary, tertiary, analogous, complementary colours and more were discussed. Students were made aware about the base colour, fashion colour of hair and about its mixing which enhance hair color. Students also learnt about the various professional brands of hair colours & their application according to different skin tones and hair textures (like Wella, Matrix Loreal and more) and about the importance of shampooing & how it works on layers of hair.
College Principal, Dr Sucharita Sharma, opined that in the field of Fashion Makeover, there are so many techniques and applications which keep on varying as per time. So, it is important for students to stay in touch with the latest modifications. She appreciated the efforts of Ms Meenal Sandhu for smoothly conducting the Workshop.
