Jalandhar, Nov 10, 2021: The Department of Commerce & M.A.C forum of Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, organised a five-day workshop on ‘Campus Corporate and Entrepreneurship’ in collaboration with IIM Kolkata.
The resource person of the seminar, Mr. Kartik Mehta, was welcomed by Dr. Monika Arora, HOD, Commerce Department. She briefed the students about the relevance of the workshop. ACFA Principal, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, addressed the audience about the usefulness of the same. Mr. Kartik further enlightened the students about the significance of the activities and modules of the workshop. He also made the students aware of upcoming workshops and lectures.
The focus of the workshop rotated around the subjects like goal setting, time management, entrepreneurship skills, business idea development, scaling business through the right strategies, end-to-end business planning, and so forth. She also mentioned that such workshops are need of the hour in today’s competitive academic environment so that students do not feel unemployed and constrained. She further stated that such practical education and workshop will encourage students to emerge as successful businessmen of tomorrow.
After Day 2 of the workshop, Dr. Neerja Dhingra thanked Mr. Kartik Mehta and also commended the sincere efforts of Dr. Monika Arora, Dr. Manisha Kaushal, and Ms. Simran for successfully organising the entire event.
