ACFA organises Skill Enhancement Classes

Jalandhar, July 04, 2022 : ACFA conducted Home your cooking skills under Skill enhancement classes for 10+2 students.

In the class, the students along with nurturing the hidden talent of cooking within themselves, gained knowledge about the art of presenting it artistically on the dining table. They were taught that the basic mantra of cooking is learning about maintaining the food’s nutritional value along with maintaining its taste.

The students also learned about preparing various state-specific dishes, got tips for making appetising street food and further gained knowledge about the recipes of quick and instant salads, sweets and snacks.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that the purpose of conducting these cooking classes was to make the young generation acquainted with different types of cuisines of India because food is also an integral part of our culture.

The principal praised the efforts of Ms. Monika Anand who taught the students with hard-work, diligence and dedication.
