Jalandhar, March 3, 2023: A guest lecture was organised by the Department of Punjabi of ACFA in which Dr Harbhajan Singh Bhatia, former Head of Department of Punjabi of the University, former Dean of the Faculty of Languages and former Director of the Academic Staff College, was present as a source speaker. Dr Bhatia asserted the basic idea of the language is to communicate and we should choose the language according to the situation, time and people and should feel free to use the language in which we feel confident. He spoke about the how globalisation and materialism has affected the communication and that it is the responsibility of young generations to preserve the pure form of language.
