ACTIVITIES

1. Placement Drive by Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM (January 24,2024): A placement drive was organised by Radio Mirchi 98.3, FM for the students of the college in collaboration with Department of Journalism and Communication, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. 2 students were selected as RJ in Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM.
2. Pre-Placement Talk by Codepro Technologies Limited (September15, 2023): A pre-placement talk was conducted by Mr. Naveen Dhunna, Director Codepro Technologies for openings in Codepro Technologies and Naukritokri.com for the students of BFA, Multimedia, Fine Arts and Computer Sc. at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar.
3. The Pre-Placement Talk by “Notsowhite” (August 24, 2023) conducted by Ms Aakriti, Entrepreneur from clothing brand "Notsowhite" for the students of BFA, Multimedia, and Computers at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. Ms Aakriti articulated the key qualities she is seeking in potential candidates for internship opportunities at her brand. She highlighted the need for individuals with a creative flair, a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation within the realms of SEO, Design, Video Production, and Social Media Management.
4. Pre-Placement Talk by NIIT Limited (August 10, 2023): A pre-placement talk (webinar) was conducted by NIIT Limited, shedding light on openings in AXIS Bank for Priority Banking Relationship Manager positions, offering valuable insights to interested students.
5. International Women's Day Workshop (March 9, 2023): The Placement Cell of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom, organised a 7-day workshop on the occasion of International Women's Day. This event aimed to inspire young women to explore entrepreneurship, in which 70 female students actively participated.
6. A 6-week workshop on Entrepreneurship Promotion and Skill Development Programme was organised from 11 October - 23 November 2022 for the students of Department of Design, ACFA in association with 'Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Government of India'.
7. Pre-Placement Talk by NIIT Limited (October 12, 2022): A pre-placement talk was conducted by NIIT Limited, shedding light on openings in AXIS Bank for FINTECH and Edelweiss for Priority Banking Relationship Manager positions, offering valuable insights to interested students.
8. Banking, Finance, and Government Sector Sem inar (September 19, 2022): A Sem inar was organised to enlighten students about job prospects in the banking, finance and government sectors. It also provided insights into cracking competitive exams.

Placement Drives

1. Amazon India Joint Placement Drive (July 07, 2022): The year kicked off with registrations for pass-out students for a joint placement drive by Amazon India, hosted at LPU. This initiative aimed to connect students with one of the world's leading e-commerce giants.
2. WIPRO Off-Campus Placement Drive (August 24, 2022): Graduated students had the chance to register for the WIPRO Work Integrated Learning Programme. This off-campus drive opened doors to a prestigious learning opportunity in the IT sector.
3. HIKE Education Placement Drive (September 08, 2022): In collaboration with HIKE Education, 27 students participated in a placement drive at APJIMTC, Jalandhar. Impressively, 5 students secured placements with a competitive CTC of Rs. 5.60 LPA.
4. TOMMY HILFIGER and CALVIN KLEIN Placement Drive (September 20, 2022): 14 students actively participated in a placement drive by renowned fashion brands TOMMY HILFIGER and CALVIN KLEIN at APJIMTC, Jalandhar.
